Yin-Yang Soup Base
Lunch Special Set (you get to choose what goes on your plate)

Inside View of Restaurant

Sauce Bar

Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot is one of my favorite hang out spot with my friends as we cook our food in the broth while chit-chatting. I really enjoy dining there because the restaurant is very nice and fancy looking and the overall ambience is great. Little Sheep is a very famous hotpot place in China and we can also find it in many cities in USA, Canada and Japan. This is their second year in Honolulu. It's popular yin-yang pot contains the original and spicy pot(range from mild to extra spicy). The soup base is made up of delicious ingredients and over 36 spices so it is very rich in flavor. There are a variety of things that you can choose to cook in your pot. There is beef, lamb, seafood, vegetables, dumplings, tofu and many more but they are a little bit on the pricy side. My friend and I would spend around $70-80 (yes, we are pigs) every time we eat there, but luckily there is a buffet now for $23.95 (only on Tuesdays) for one adult. They also have a sauce bar with different choices to complement your meal. I would also recommend stopping by during lunch time for their lunch special set for only $12.95 and you can get very full from it. The buffet and lunch special makes Little Sheep an even better gathering place for me now!

All Time Favorite Martial Art Movie - Ip Man

Ip Man is a Hong Kong martial arts action movie filmed in 2008. The movie loosely portrays the life of Ip Man, a grandmaster of martial art Wing Chun and the master of famous action star, Bruce Lee. Donnie Yen, a famous actor who is also a martial artist, is starring as Ip Man. The film took place in Foshan, China during the Second Sino-Japanese War. The story opens with Ip Man being a very well known and respected martial artist in Foshan but sometime people would challenge him, hoping they would defeat him and take his place but no one did. After a few years, the Japanese invaded Foshan and took everything the Chinese owns, thus putting them in poverty, including Ip Man and his family. Ip Man ends up working as a mine collector and one day, the Japanese came to the mine field and asked for volunteers to participate in a martial art match (the Japanese General Miura is a martial art enthusiast) and if they win, they would be rewarded a bag of rice. This is luxury to them because the Chinese live in starvation everyday. Ip Man wasn’t interested at first but he joins the match when his friends are killed brutally and unfairly during the match. Below is the the link of my favorite scene, where he fights 10 black belt at the same time. This movie doest not only contain really interesting and exciting action scenes, it also teaches important morals and it reflects the true historical event on how the Japanese abused their military power on Chinese during the war.

P.S.The whole movie is available on Netflix! :D

New Favorite Place for Ramen

Spicy Tonkotsu
Original Kotteri
The new Agu Ramen at Ward Village has become one of my favorite restaurants because it offers the best tasting and original Japanese Ramen in Honolulu in my opinion. Agu refers to the highest grade pork from Okinawa. Their famous Tonkotsu broth is cooked daily for 18 hours with pork bones at an extremely high heat to establish the rich and creamy flavor. Luckily, there were seats available when my friend and I got there and we were seated quickly. My friend ordered the Original Kotteri and I ordered Spicy Tonkotsu. The Original Kotteri includes a extra rich broth made with black garlic oil. I personally love spicy so I ordered my Spicy Tonkotsu with level 2 spiciness, which is medium level. The half egg is kind of sweet and the char siu that comes with it is very tender. The price for each of our ramen was $12.75, which is among the cheapest in the restaurant. I think our money is really well spent and we enjoyed it very much. We would definitely visit there again.

Staying Healthy and Fit

I have started to exercise recently in an attempt to obtain a healthier life style, develop muscle strength and to lose fats. My daily exercise routine is doing figureroboics for about 30 minutes from Jung Da Yeon, a popular South Korean fitness and diet guru. I've been watching and following her workout videos for about two months but sometimes I would stop for a few days when I am too busy from school and work. When I first starter her work out, I couldn't make it to the end and I had to stop in between to take mini breaks but now I am able to finish it without feeling exhausted. I felt like my belly has gotten smaller and my thighs are a little slimmer. I am still very happy even though the changes on my body are not really noticeable, as long as there are some results. If anyone is also interested in fitness, please share your work out routine with me!

Here is the link of my favorite workout video from her. Check it out!
