Magic Remover - Nature Republic

     I have always had trouble removing my lip and eye make up until I found the Magic Remover. I remember coming home from work or a night out with friends all tired and wanting to remove my make up as soon as possible so I can shower and go to bed but I always spent so much time on removing my make up and it can be irritating at times. The products that I used is great for removing foundations and it can remove eye make up too but it just stings really badly and I get red eyes afterward. I love Magic Remover because it is more gently but it can removes strong mascara and eyeliner and eyeshadow and the best part is you won't feel it in your eyes. Its not oily like other liquid make up removers and it also has a really nice chamomile scent so I can enjoy my make up removing process more.

Black Friday Haul

     Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving weekend! I spent Thanksgiving at work just like any other holidays... :( I was expecting a lot of customers since the sale is pretty good but unfortunately, it was kind of slow and we made 7x less than what we made last Thanksgiving so I was a bit disappointed. I shopped on Black Friday the whole day. I usually enjoy shopping but not on Black Friday. It was super hectic and everywhere I go, there is a line. I think I spent half of the time waiting in line for the fitting room, cashier and even to go in the store. Luckily, they have good sale and majority of the clothing stores have 40%-60% sale. I stayed at the mall for about 5 hours when I couldn't walk anymore and spent the rest of the night shopping online because I am a shopaholic and the sale makes them more appealing, but I am very happy with my new clothes now.

Shrimp Lover

      I love shrimp and I can eat them cooked in different styles at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. This is my second time eating there and I finally got to try the Shrimper's Heaven (fried shrimp) that I have been yearning. It wasn't as good as I expected and the bottom of each paper cone is filled with french fries. I don't mind having them but I would preferred it to be filled with shrimps. My favorite is coconut shrimp from this dish due to its slightly sweet taste. Shrimper's Net Catch (dish with two corn knobs) was also delicious and a little healthier than Shrimper's Heaven since it is not fried. My ultimate favorite dish is the barbecue baby back ribs. I ordered it the first time I went there and this is partly the reason why I came back. Its kinda of weird going to a shrimp restaurant for their ribs but I guess I love them more than their shrimp dishes.

Clarisonic Cleansing Brush

      I have received a Clarisonic Mia 2 as a present and it has worked wonders for me. They are expensive but I think their magic is worth the price.This skin cleansing brush uses patented sonic technology to scrub away dirt, oil, and makeup at a rate of 300 movements per second. It cleans way more effectively than just by using hands. I used to have lots of pimples and break out pretty often. I would apply face wash first then scrub the area of my face that has the most acne with Clarisonic continuously for about 30 seconds and my acnes disappeared after using this for a few months. My friends noticed the difference in my skin too. I would recommend this to people with acne skin because it might be a skin changer for you. 

Restaurant Week Hawaii

   

     Hawaii will be having its eighth annual Restaurant Week, November 16-22 this year for all the food lovers like me. One of my hobbies is to explore places with delicious food. I would eat outside to celebrate and to cheer myself up when I am down. During the seven days of the restaurant week, participating restaurants will offer special menu items, promotions and discounts. The participating restaurants vary from fine dining such as Fifty Three by the Sea to fast-food like Chinatown Express, so there is many choices to taste different dishes.

Halloween

     This is my second year spending Halloween at work but I am okay with it because I work at Waikiki and people would dress up in their costumes and gather here. It was actually more fun because I get to look at people's different costumes and the store isn't really busy because people are more interested in looking and taking pictures of other peoples' costumes.

          Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot is one of my favorite hang out spot with my friends as we cook our food in the broth while chit-chatting. I really enjoy dining there because the restaurant is very nice and fancy looking and the overall ambience is great. Little Sheep is a very famous hotpot place in China and we can also find it in many cities in USA, Canada and Japan. This is their second year in Honolulu. It's popular yin-yang pot contains the original and spicy pot(range from mild to extra spicy). The soup base is made up of delicious ingredients and over 36 spices so it is very rich in flavor. There are a variety of things that you can choose to cook in your pot. There is beef, lamb, seafood, vegetables, dumplings, tofu and many more but they are a little bit on the pricy side. My friend and I would spend around $70-80 (yes, we are pigs) every time we eat there, but luckily there is a buffet now for $23.95 (only on Tuesdays) for one adult. They also have a sauce bar with different choices to complement your meal. I would also recommend stopping by during lunch time for their lunch special set for only $12.95 and you can get very full from it. The buffet and lunch special makes Little Sheep an even better gathering place for me now!
